Pinot noir, one of the grapes that create the finest red wines in the world, is the type of red wine grape that owner Hiroyuki Kusuda likes best of all.
His dream of producing a pinot noir acknowledged at the highest level prompted his move to New Zealand in May 2001. He believes this wine district has great potential to grow great pinot noir grapes and produce great pinot noir wine.
